Netflix's comic book fantasy series Sweet Tooth has proven to be a big hit for the streamer, and curiosity is already mounting for details about season 3. Though it wasn't immediately announced, Sweet Tooth season 3 has finally been confirmed by Netflix. However, the news is bittersweet, as the show is returning for a third season, but it'll also be the series' last. The creator and showrunner Jim Mickle is positive about season 3 being Sweet Tooth's last season though, as it's exactly as he imagined the series. Mickle explained, "In a lot of ways, it’s exactly the story that I imagined we would tell and in a lot of ways it takes on its own life." Netflix also revealed that the WGA writers' strike will not affect season 3, as it has already been shot.
