When is Stranger Things Day 2021?
It t’s almost Halloween, which means it’s almost time for our favorite unofficial holiday of the year: Stranger Things Day.
Stranger Things Day is the one day of the year when Stranger Things fans around the world can come together and celebrate one of the best Netflix shows of all time. The day also coincides with the day that Will Byers was followed home by the Demogorgon and went missing in the Upside Down. It’s the day that started this whole story, or so we thought. As it turns out, the origins of this story started in early 1959 in Hawkins, Indiana.
So, when is Stranger Things Day this year?
Stranger Things Day 2021
Stranger Things Day is always Nov. 6, the day that Will Byers disappeared. This year, Stranger Things Day will be Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021.
As I recall, this is the first time Stranger Things Day falls on the weekend, so it will be interesting to see if the party gets started on Friday, Nov. 5, or if everyone will be celebrating on Saturday, Nov. 6.
Maybe, this year, we can make it Stranger Things Weekend, instead? I’d be all for it.
Will the Stranger Things season 4 release date be announced?
It’s unclear at this time what Netflix has planned for Stranger Things Day this year. In the past, we’ve seen pretty much everything except a release date announced. We’ve seen images, trailers, teasers, new merch, episode titles, and so much more.
Because we’ve never seen a Stranger Things release date announced on Stranger Things Day, it’s probably not very likely that Netflix would roll it out then.
It’s possible it could change this time, though. This is the closest we’ll ever see a new season after Stranger Things Day, so Netflix could surprise fans with a release date or month. We already know the new season is coming in 2022; it’s just a matter of what month.
If I had to guess, I’d say that I don’t think the Stranger Things season 4 release date will be announced on Nov. 6. There are other really good things that will be released, announced, and revealed, but it won’t be the release date.
That will likely be announced closer to the release date.
Will the Stranger Things season 4 trailer be released?
We will definitely see the fourth teaser trailer for Stranger Things season 4 on Stranger Things Day. That’s been rumored for a few months now on social media, so we’re hoping those rumors are true.
So far, we’ve seen teasers featuring Hopper, Eleven, and Victor Creel, and Creel House. Steve and the gang broke in the house and noticed something was up to while they were inside.
Hopefully, we get to see what Will and the Byers fam is up to in the next teaser. We’re still waiting to see Will, Mike, Nancy, and Jonathan. Oh, and Joyce, of course.
If I were to take a guess, this will be the highlight of Stanger Things Day 2021.
Stranger Things season 4 release date
As mentioned, it doesn’t look very likely that the Stranger Things season 4 release date will be announced on Nov. 6. But, we still have a good idea when to expect the new season.
Production on Stranger Things season 4 wrapped in September 2021, and we should have at least six months of waiting until the new season premieres.
