It’s October, and in theory, the perfect time for the long-awaited Stranger Things season 4 to be released onNetflix, but as it seems, the phenomenal original series is not coming back for this spooky season. In fact, it looks like we won’t learn what’s happened to Hopper, Eleven, and the gang until 2022!
The official list of October new releases on Netflix was shared recently, and to the surprise of pretty much no one, Stranger Things season 4 was not included. It’s already been confirmed the next installment will premiere next year, so don’t expect it in the next couple of months.
The last season of Stranger Thingspremiered over two years ago in July 2019 and left things off on a pretty big cliffhanger, so it’s no surprise many are wondering when the critically acclaimed sci-fi show — created by the Russo brothers (Matt and Ross Duffer) — will be returning to Netflix.
Here’s what you need to know about the Stranger Thing season 4 release.
Stranger Things season 4 release date predictions
Earlier this year, Netflix confirmed that Stranger Things will be returning in 2022, but didn’t reveal a specific day or month. However, given that Netflix just released a third teaser for Stranger Things season 4 – –showcasing the house that was previously owned by the Creel family — it makes us think that the release of the upcoming season is much sooner than we all suspect.
In fact, we predict that Stranger Things will be back in the first quarter of 2022, maybe even as soon as January 2022! Of course, we could be completely wrong — seasons 1 and 3 were released in July, whilst season 2 in October — but given the substantial promotion going into the fourth season right now, we’re safe to assume that the release is sooner than later.
Needless to say, this is just our own prediction, so take this information with a grain of salt, until Netflix confirms — or better yet, releases — season 4 nothing is official, but stay tuned for further updates on the Upside Down!
