Viewers' hearts were also broken with the emotional scenes delivered by the exceptional cast. So it's no surprise that fans are eager to know when season 5 is set to be released - to find out what the ending of season 4 means for the future of the Hawkins gang.

When is Stranger Things season 5 coming out?
There is currently no confirmed season 5 release date. However actor David Harbour - who plays Jim Hopper - suggested that "it’d probably come out mid-2024, based on our track record.” In the interview with GQ, he said that filming will likely begin in 2023, and that “they’re finishing writing it this year, and they need to prep and stuff, so hopefully it’ll be this year”.
From previous experience, the time frame given by Harbour sounds correct. There were similar gaps between the release of season 1 - 3, of approximately 18 months. However, Season 4 was delayed due to pandemic restrictions.
